In need of a WHITE G3 bait!

  • Dec. 27th, 2009 at 2:21 PM
Abielle de Miel says HI! X3
I'm on the hunt again!

The next commission order on my wait list is a custom pony, and I am in need a white G3 base.

Heeeeeelp! Please? *begs*

Must be absolutely clean, as I will NOT be doing a body repaint on this little girl.

I don't care about the condition of the mane and tail, but the body really really needs to be a clean white.

Not sure if I can use any jewel-in-butt ponies, as this is a horse fursona, not an MLP persona, and she doesn't have a butt symbol ( sorry, can't call it a cutie mark. XP ).

Can anyone help?

~ The NEW Wacom Intuous 4 ( small ) tablet! Owo

~ a 19" Wide LCD 917Vw+ computer screen, to replace my massive antiquated boxey two ton Dell monitor

~ A NEW FRAKKING PC WITH WINDOWS 7! OWO ( my hard drive on this machine is sloooowly starting to go, and I've had this tower and monitor for about 10 years now. We always updated it with new hard drives, new OS's, new cd and dvd players and burner, new memory cards, internet cards, etc, but it's getting old, by computer standards. Frankie05 is ready to retire. I just have to sit down some day this week and move all of my files over from this hard drive to the new one, and put all of my programs into that machine. Better test the basics first, though: internet card, install Firefox, check the antivirus software, get acquainted with Windows 7, blahblah. More insentive now for me to dig into my savings for an external hard drive, just in case. ).

~ a blackberry vanilla bathset that I was eyeing at Wally World

~ a Cinnabon jar candle ( smells awesome! )

~ $80 from Monsignor ( which he owed me anyway for work for the parish. He still owes me SO much more. Same BS story with that place... ~_~ )

And the coolest wearable present to date...

So comfy! And it's an addiction between myself, my friend [info]i_am_slrearth , and our friend, Christine. YuGiOh: Abridged. LittleKuriboh. DAMN SONG! X3

X3

Yum, the whole house smells of the pineapple ham baking in the oven right now

What I got for others:

~ Mom:
the breadbox she's been wanting for the kitchen, and one of my Wee-Bee Cuteness shirts in military green from CafePress ( looks REALLY good! Oo )

~ Dad:
most difficult person in the world to shop for! So I played it safe, and got him the Chibi Wee-Bee Men's Performance Jacket, also from my CafePress shop.

~ Robin:
The white Wee-Bee Cuteness men's shirt ( CafePress shop ), and the music playing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer ornament ( Rudolph was his favorite Christmas movie growing up as a little boy ), and of course, to be the pain in the ass that I'm supposed to be towards my little brother, I COVERED the wrapping paper in the cutest, girliest, most non-manly stickers I had. Pony stickers, unicorn stickers, cupcakes, bows, etc. He and his wife got the joke. X3

~ Jen ( sis in law ):
Vice - Turkish Coffee - Graham Cracker - soap, handmade, from gloilocksandbody shop over on Etsy. IT SMELLS SO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD, and looks delicious! , and small mint and chocolate bath set. She loves awesome smelling stuff as much as I do. ^__^

~ Alex ( nephew ):
I made him a cd copy of the soundtrack to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Coming Out of their Shells concert tour, and got him an old school Ninja Turtles tshirt that he's going to have to grow into. It's fun being able to share an addiction with my nephew. X3 I still have to make him and Robin a vhs copy of the actual concert itself, but I have to get the double decked vcr up and running to do that.

~ Dee ( niece ):
I didn't want to subject her to the craptastic My Little Pony toys that Hasbro's putting out right now, so I picked up an antique Snow White Christmas ornament by Grolier. Jen said over the phone that at first she didn't care what was IN the box at first, she loved JUST THE BOX, and was so appreciative to get even a BOX, until her mom suggested she actually OPEN the box and see what was inside for her. X3

I do miss not being able to see Dee's and Alex's faces light up when opening their presents this year, but I'm glad to hear that they like their presents at least. ^__^

~ Jen G.:
A BUNCH of imported Sailor Moon things, and a dvd of Jackie Chan's Drunken Master ( twas hilarious watching her trying to rip open the box. X3 )

~ Christine:
a 2 GB USB key for her laptop ( which she VERY much needed! Oo ), and HUGE fluffy yellow hand embroidered MONKEY towel from threetreesembroidery on Etsy.

So, how did you all make out this year, eh? ^____^

Drooly Xmas Wee-Bee
Yep, it is now officially 12:09 am, so NOW I can say this!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, Happy Soltice, Merry Kwanza and Happy Hanukkah, everyone!

I just came back from spending Christmas Eve evening with two very awesome friends, where we all exchanged gifties ( BROOKLYNN RAGE!! ), got sick on Wise Cheez Doodles and cherry Twizzlers, and watched Emmet Otters Jugband Christmas and it's blooper reels. X3

Got home about an hour ago and immediately hopped in the shower. I hate waking up Christmas morning looking like a mess, and we were invited to our neighbors for Christmas breakfast, so shower now while I can enjoy it.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Need some suggestions!

  • Dec. 20th, 2009 at 2:08 AM
Chibi Turtle heads!
Okay, luvs, I need to ask a favor!

Been itching to do some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Coming Out of their Shells concert fanart of Donatello for some time now.

BUT... what should Donnie be leaning against?

I know, in the concert, he plays one of those portable keyboards with the guitar strap, which I had thought about having him lean against originally, but... those things are kind of short.

Maybe a standing keyboard?

He doesn't play guitar in the show at all, that's Mike, and Leo plays bass, while Raph's lead singer and some drums ( kind of ^^; ).

Any suggestions?

And should I give him his body spots as well?

And yes, they wear sneakers and leg warmers in the show, and Donnie has tassles attached to his elbow pads.

Hey, it's better than the ORIGINAL concert body suits! KISS-esque boots and shapes on their masks to be like the KISS makeup, and TASSLES ALL OVER! Those body suits were AWFUL! XP

Looks like the snow has finally started! No, I'm NOT excited, I hate shoveling the stuff / walking to work in it / driving in it because people seem to forget how to drive in it once it starts. Beh. If you want it, you can have it. XP

Finished marker painting Harogirl's Dahlia kitty. Did more texturing done on her dress, as suggested by a good critique on the last kitty girl piece. Getting more practice with colored pencils on these pieces. ^__^

Oh, Hot Topic, you amuse me yet again with your inability to understand something called a copyright law.

Fanart does have someone else's characters in it, yes, HOWEVER, the artwork ITSELF still belongs to the ARTIST, and you STILL have to ask permission from the person who drew it if you can use said artwork for something. He didn't draw it for profit himself, he drew it for the fun of it, for himself, never meant to make money from it.

Hot Topic is KNOWN for using artwork from artists on places such as DeviantART without asking permission from the artist. Both fanart AND original art. I've seen it first hand myself in the past with illegally reproduced artwork on stickers and postcards and shirts, all from that store. And all they get is a slap on the wrist, told not to do it again, are let go, and of course, they do it again. And again and again and again.

And it's happened yet again.

I watch *lastscionz on DA ( Jeffrey .Chamba. Cruz ), who works for Udon Crew. He found out today from another fan that Hot Topic is now selling tshirts with HIS Battle Toads fanart on it. WITHOUT his permission and without even being asked in the first place.

Another all nighter... fun...

Joy

Looks like another all nighter tonight. Wasn't expected almost 50 pages worth of website work to be dropped in my lap the moment I got home from work...

And yep, it ALL has to be done by 6 am Thursday.

Fuck you very much, OLV.

I was planning TOPS to be on the computer an hour today, just to update the online bulletin and toss any updated pages that the lazy as hell teachers may have worked on onto the website server. As usual, only one of them took the time to update their site. The others? Nope. I ain't doing it for them. If they want their websites updated, THEY have to do it. ALL I'm supposed to do for their damned sites is toss them onto the website server. Period.

The 50 pages worth of extra work? All new stuff for the parish side of the site, and editing of old pages. Something that I would have normally done in an hour shift during the day. This needs to be done in the next 5 hours, and I already pulled a busy as fuck shift at the store earlier today. I'm already beat.

Again, fuck you very much, OLV. And no, I will NOT waste my Thursday off to work on your shit. Website work is reserved for Wednesday nights. Period.

Yet another art dump!

  • Dec. 16th, 2009 at 12:04 AM
Mizuki is busy busy busy!
Now that some more Christmas gift related and other job related things are cleaned off of my slate, I've been able to get my butt back on working on these two commission pieces. Slapped my earbuds in, cranked up the Zune with ear busting music to make sure I couldn't hear a damn MAC TRUCK come crashing through the walls if it did, and got to sketching, tight penciling, and inking.

Works in progress

Dahlia kitty girl inksfor Harogirl, and Firebyrd and baby Bea for Ginny.

And yes, I cheated with the snowflakes. They're mostly there as a base map for when I marker paint later. White gel pen / white ink is a headache saver.I may ever just go with white acrylic paint to achieve a softer look.

Meiji snacks at Netcong ShopRite

Dear world

We now sell Meiji snacks, like YanYan, Chocorooms, and those little chocolate filled cookies with pandas on them, at the Netcong ShopRite.

I repeat, we now sell MEIJI SNACKS at Netcong ShopRite.

Will Pocky follow soon? I have no idea and frankly, could care less about Pocky, but I know other anime / manga / Japan fans in the Netcong, Stanhope, and Mt. Olive area will be happy little fans. They won't have to drive all the way to the Rockaway Mall now just to get their fixes.

That is all!

Thank you.

*noms on Choco YanYan and 2 boxes of Chocorooms*

He made bail! O~o

The man who murdered his wife over on New Street MADE FUCKING BAIL!!!

He's BACK ON THE STREETS!!

Apparently this man has been in serious trouble with the law in the past as well, and he got away with it back then as well.

Let's see:

He murders his wife, stabbing her 47 times, just gets a slap on the hand, he hands over a check, and he's allowed back out on the streets. Oh bad boy, don't do it again or we'll make you sit in time out for 5 minutes next time with a dunce cap on your head?

I know this happens all of the time, but really. You allow a man with a BAD record, someone who has purposely stabbed his own wife, who, by the way, according to their neighbors, was a SWEET HEART, back out into public. And what do you say if and when he does it again? Oops, my bad?

Greeeeeat justice system we have here.

I'm not for the death penalty, but he deserves to rot in the lowest darkest smallest dankest hole in the ground.

Fuck.

Fuckfuckfuck FUCK!!
